“Stop The Killing” Bumper Sticker

The Bahamas Sea Turtle Conservation Group asks for your support to Ban Sea Turtle fishing in The Bahamas, by donating $2.00 for a “Stop The Killing”, bumper sticker.
Funds will go towards the further education to protect our sea turtles.

All Sea Turtles, Green Turtle, Loggerhead, Leatherback, Hawksbill and the Kemps Ridley Turtle are listed as “threatened” or “endangered” Internationally. Three countries have banned the fishing and catching of turtles completely, the USA in 1973, Mexico in 1990 and Cuba in 2008.

The Bahamas Sea Turtle Conservation Group has sent letters in April and July 2008 to the Prime Minister, the Minister of Fisheries and Minister of Tourism.

Several other organizations actively support the new group, include the Nature Conservancy, BREEF, ReEarth, Caribbean Conservation Corporation, Earth Care, Grand Bahama Humane Society, Unexso Dolphin Experience, Grand Bahama Nature Tours and Andros Conservancy and Trust.
